Disney Dream Cruise Ship - Where To Eat - The Wonderful Restaurants Explained

Article Source: Disney Cruise Line – http://routebyroad.com

Once you board the Disney Dream cruise ship you will find that there is an amazing variety of places to eat. Food is available 24 hours a day so you will never get a chance to feel one single hunger pang. Here are just a few of the places that you can choose to eat at, depending on what you feel like having.

Once you have been booked into your accommodation, you will also be told what your dining room assignment is. This particular ship has space for up to 4000 guests so in order to ensure that everyone gets to have a sit down meal, there are two meal settings. The first is at 5.45pm and the second seating is at 8.15pm. These times have been coordinated so that people are able to see the wonderful theatre productions that are offered each evening.

The Main Restaurants on The Disney Dream

There are three restaurants that each guest will visit at least once during their vacation. They are called The Enchanted Garden, The Royal Palace and Animator’s Palate. Each one has its own theme and style of food. All menus include an appetizer, a starter, a main and ends with a lovely choice of mouth watering desserts.

The dress code for these restaurants is cruise casual. The majority of people will tend to change into their evening attire after a day spent out on deck or in the pools. However, you are welcome to wear whatever you desire as you will not be turned away by the staff.

Getting To Know Your Waiters

When you go for your first meal, you will meet several people who are there to ensure that you enjoy your meal. These people are your waiter or server and the assistant server. These same people will wait on you every evening that you dine in the restaurant. This is a fantastic advantage as they will get to know you and your particular preferences and will be able to anticipate your needs. This is a great benefit if you are travelling with children because your personal waiter will know exactly what type of things will keep them amused during the meal.

How To Tip Your Waiters For A Great Service

When it comes to tipping your waiters, you will find that this has been included in the price of your cruise. However, many people like to be able to add a little extra if they feel that they have received an exemplary service. This is very easy to do. At the end of the cruise, you will be given little envelopes that have the words, server, assistant server and Head server printed on them. This is where you can place an additional tip for the service that you have received.

Each restaurant has a particular theme and all the wait staff work together to ensure that you enjoy your meal. If you feel like a little snack sometime after dinner, you can visit one of the many snack bars that are dotted around the ship. You will be able to pick up a slice of pizza, a hamburger or something for dessert like an ice cream or some fresh fruit. No one ever goes hunger on a Disney Cruise Line vacation.

Colorado Springs a Truly Wonderful Travel Destination

TOP TRAVEL DESTINATIONS – http://routebyroad.com

Well I decided to write about the great state of Colorado and how much fun vacationing is there. But there are so many great places to go in Colorado it was tough to narrow down one area to visit. But eventually I decided on the Colorado Springs area.

Colorado Springs and it’s surrounding area has so much to offer and of course the beauty of the mountains makes you want to visit again and again. There is something about just being in the mountains that is relaxing and peaceful. I have spent many vacations in Colorado and never get tired of the beauty of the mountains, I even had the opportunity to live there for a short period of time and never grew tired of the scenery. Each time I go to the Rockies there is always something new to see or do it seems like.

I have been to Colorado Springs many times and for any of you readers that may be interested in going there I thought I would tell you a little about what the area has to offer.

There is of course Royal Gorge, the views down are breathtaking and awe inspiring. You can walk or drive across the bridge, take a tram down to the river, and even tour the area by rail. A definite must see if you are in the area.

After you have looked down you will want to experience Pikes Peak Highway, it is truly one of the most beautiful areas of the Rockies. You may see dear, marmots, elk, big horn sheep, and of course there is always the chipmunks. Be sure to take items to snack on and maybe a picnic lunch because you are sure to stay longer than you thought. Have some quarters available for when you get to the top for their binoculars or better yet bring your own to use and enjoy all through your trip. You can even take the cog railway to the top if you prefer that over the drive.

If you are into or want to experience some rafting Echo Canyon is the place to go. If you are into the milder family version they have that available and for the thrill seekers raft the Royal Gorge.

Manitou Springs is noted for their carbonated mineral drinking springs. You will also find wonderful shopping in many specialty shops and boutiques. A wonderful place to go for window shoppers and serious shoppers alike. For you chocolate lovers the fudge is out of this world.

If you enjoy waterfalls then Seven Falls should be on your itinerary. You can climb quite high to see the falls, or take the mountain elevator if that is more to your tastes. You may even be able to feed peanuts to the chipmunks which is a lot of fun for old and young alike. Make sure you allow yourself enough time to really enjoy the area and you may want to consider staying there through sunset and enjoying all the colorful lights. The falls are gorgeous will the lights in the evening.

You can’t forget the North Pole and Santa’s Workshop if you have young ones. You will find Santa, a petting zoo, amusement rides, magic shows, and a ton of fun things there. I have been there many times and it is still a magical place that is fun for the whole family.

There is also the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo which is awesome. Be sure and bring your walking shoes as the zoo is located in the mountains so there will be some hills to climb, but the walking will be worth it.

Other places you may want to visit would be the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, if you go in the summer you may be able to watch some Pueblo Indian dances live. For some family fun be sure and visit Buckskin Joe Frontier Town and Railway. You can ride a train and see some spectacular scenery and enjoy all the wild west action that it has to offer.

There is of course the Garden of the Gods, where you can find wonderful art exhibits representing the culture and history of the area. And of course there is Cave of the Winds. There are many different tours available and all are worth the time. If you time it right when you go you will be able to see a wonderful laxer show in the evening as well. It is quite dramatic and worth staying up for.

Well these are just a few of my favorite places to go in the Colorado Springs area, I am sure I have forgotten some but this will give you a start on what you want to do and see when you get there.

A Wonderful Continent Called Africa

TOP TRAVEL DESTINATIONS – http://routebyroad.com

Africa is called the Dark Continent for its supposed mystery, but there is nothing mysterious about a destination site like this. You should definitely consider an Africa vacation.

Africa is probably the most diverse continent on the planet and a vacation there can hold just as much variety. No matter what you are looking for, an Africa vacation can fulfill all your trip desires.

We think of Africa first as a land of jungles and wild animals and that is certainly true. For an Africa vacation, you may want to consider some of the amazing safari adventures, which will take you to places that most people have only dreamed about. Imagine elephants and lions in the wild; that can be part of an Africa vacation. Although primitive in its beauty and feel, being on a safari does not mean living like an animal. Throughout the numerous game preserves and national parks, where you will see nature at its best, are also some of the finest accommodations in the world.

On your vacation, you can stay in guest lodges that rival anything in the cosmopolitan areas for luxury and service. Most of these venues will make you feel like you are a king or queen of all you survey, with excellent amenities you would not necessarily expect on an Africa vacation.

However, the jungles and savannas of Africa is only part of the picture. In South Africa, you can find hotels and resorts that rival any in Las Vegas or other showplace resorts. How about an Africa vacation that includes top line entertainment, casino gambling, unsurpassed beaches? All these are available for both singles and families, accommodating all types of budgets.

In the north, beautiful beach resorts dot the Mediterranean coast as well as the Red Sea. Here a vacation turns into a desert odyssey not unlike Palm Springs, California, except with miles of white sand beaches.

Africa is countless island resorts on the Indian Ocean too. An Africa vacation here could be a private bungalow at a small resort where fresh fish is caught for lunch literally outside the windows of your room. The waters in these areas are pristine and unspoiled, perfect for diving and sailing.

In the north west, Morocco and the Canary Islands beckon with a completely different atmosphere and style. In addition, an Africa vacation here on the Atlantic coast has a completely different environment and culture to experience. You might feel that you are in Monte Carlo or Cannes but with much less expense and a more relaxing atmosphere.

An Africa vacation can be just about what you want it to be, with a variety that you will not find anywhere else.
