Travel - Romantic Vacations

I believe in romance, but I also believe that the fires of romance need to be fanned from time to time to keep them burning brightly and keep the heat turned up. Day-to-day life can suck the romance right out of any relationship, so couples need to actively seek ways in which to keep their relationships romantic and alive.

There is no better way to kindle or rekindle romance than a romantic vacation to an exotic and romantic location where romance seems to be in the very air that you breathe. Yes, there really are places like that on earth. You won’t find them in the office where you work each day, or

at the local supermarket, however.

Romance is sometimes associated with warmth and sunshine, with big moons and star-filled skies, with gorgeous sunsets and balmy breezes, with long hand-in-hand walks along endless beaches to the sound of ocean waves breaking on shore, and with romantic dinners and

luxurious accommodations.

If that sounds like a perfect romantic vacation, then consider a trip to Barbados. Barbados is located in the Eastern Caribbean, and it is just a short flight from the east coast of the U.S. Barbados is known for its beautiful white-sand beaches, exquisite dining, and luxurious hotels.

Another wonderful romantic getaway location is Tahiti. Tahiti is located in the Pacific Ocean near the Equator. This location guarantees a warm year-round climate. Tahiti is part of French Indonesia, so there is an offering of a taste of a different (and very romantic) culture. The beaches of Tahiti are legendary, and many of the resorts actually cater to couples who are looking for quiet and private time together.

Beach vacations don’t appeal to everyone, however. Some people would find more romance in a secluded mountain retreat. The Pocono Mountains are on the U.S. East Coast, and there are many romantic destinations there that really cater to couples looking for romance.
