Travel - Theme Park Destinations

Theme park destinations for family vacations are certainly very popular. There is quite an array of choices available, too. Disney is, of course, the number one theme park that comes to mind, and they are the biggest and the most elaborate. But Disney parks are not the only theme park vacation destination available. There are theme parks in every state in the Union and in every territory as well.

With just a tad of online research, you can find a theme park that is located in whatever area you want to visit. The theme park can be the main destination, or it can simply be one of the attractions that you and your family want to visit on a family trip.

In the state of Alabama, there are five theme parks and five water parks, and in the state of Wyoming, there is one theme park but it’s a

terrific one! In Texas, there are 11 theme parks and six water parks. In New York, there are 14 theme parks and four water parks. So, no matter what area of this great country you intend to visit on your next family vacation, you can find a theme park in the area and probably more than one.

Theme park vacations are fun for the whole family, but they can get really expensive if you don’t plan ahead and plan well. In the interest of economy, you will want to get room accommodations as far from the theme park as possible and eat before you go to the park and after you leave the park. If possible, you also need to take a bottle of water for each family member, because soft drinks in theme parks are usually very, very expensive. Soft drinks are rarely allowed brought into a theme park, but usually it is permissible to bring in bottled water.
